This is David's unique application of digital video, world-renown Dartfish Software, and a custom web software package that captures and integrates every lesson into a personalized training environment.

Every lesson begins with the premise of capturing opportunities for improvement through the use of digitally recorded video footage during the lesson. 

This is very valuable because the player is not forced to study every moment of the workout-rather they will be completely focused on the critical changes that Coach Evans wants the player to incorporate.

Here's how it works:

1) The athlete arrives prepared for his lesson with Coach Evans.

2) If the athlete is a pitcher, Coach Evans will have a specific bullpen workout scheduled in his training system that will print out and be completed during the lesson by the player.

3) Coach Evans will chart all of the pitches thrown collecting key data on his chart including speed, location and pitch type.  This data will reveal the players' 30/60/90 day trends in location and speed of each pitch.  For players who have access to Online Studio™, the privilege of reviewing and charting progress is as available 24/7.

4) Throughout each lesson, digital video footage will be captured of the bullpen or hitting lesson.

5) Coach Evans will constantly be "laying down clips" to the Dartfish software which will immediately be seen on the large flat screen t.v.'s in the batting cage.  Every pitch or swing (depending upon your lesson type) will be replayed in a loop for review purposes and key clips will be saved to Coach Evans' web application for that player's files (see below for more on the player files).

6) Throughout the lesson, Coach Evans will be capturing and then discussing key learning points for the player utilizing the large screen digitally enhanced video footage.  Many of these video captures are nuances that standard camcorders simply cannot capture because of the angle required and the frames per second limitations.

Already this is a huge advantage for the athletes training with Coach Evans.  Here though, is where the real difference comes into play.

7) During the player's lesson Coach Evans will capture and transfer up to five key video clips onto a personal jump drive or memory stick for the player.  At the conclusion of each lesson the player will leave with new footage to review and study on their own personal laptop or computer.  

8) And if you choose from one of David's Online Studio™ packages below the player will be able to view all of the key clips from their lesson!  Additionally they can now track thier own development over time through thier private web portal on Coach Evan's website.  Parents will have their own access as well.  Each player will have the opportunity to study footage of their lessons and capture the progress.

This web portal environment is only available with the Online Studio™ packages.  Imagine the athlete being able to review key notes and results from previous workouts with Coach Evans through a personal site with only their data and video footage loaded!

9) Someone once said that "repition is the mother of all skill" meaning what we repeat, we learn. 

The sad thing about that truism is that it is true for those repeating the right things and the those repeating the wrong things!
